Shaqiri: The e-tourism platform will offer an opportunity to fix and control taxes [1]

At the 106th session, the Government has adopted the information on the creation, realization and implementation of an adequate information system for digitalization of the tourism and catering sector e-tourism.

The purpose of this information system for digitalization of some of the services in this sector is to create a national digital tool for collecting data of accommodation service providers and their accommodation facilities on the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as to register and check out tourists by online accommodation providers.

Additionally, the e-tourism platform will offer the opportunity to fix and control taxes based on check-in and check-out of tourists and data on individual accommodation facilities as well as reporting on real-time statistics on a daily basis or at intervals not longer than 24 hours.
