"Huawei Seeds for the Future“ – Online Study Programme [1]

The Ministry of Information Society and Administration, with cooperation with the company Huawei, provides an opportunity to award the five best students from ICT faculties in the Republic of North Macedonia. The opportunity in question is an online study programme "Huawei Seeds for the Future” organized by the company Huawei since 2008, which offers opportunity for the best students to gain knowledge of its operations in the ICT industry. All costs for this programme are covered by the company Huawei. The programme will be held from 2nd to 6th November 2020 on the public educational programme iLearningX.
Students that are elligible to apply should meet the following criteria:
- Should have GPA above 9.0
- Should be enrolled in 3rd year of studies
- Should be enrolled in studies for the first time after 2016 (calculated from 2016)
- Should have excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
- Should deliver Letter of Motivation no longer than 2 pages, written in English
- Should not be above 30 years of age.
Students may apply with scanned passport (or ID card) and Certificate of Passed Exams listing the passed exams and GPA, as well as the total number of exams (excluding undergraduate dissertation). The letter of motivation will be used as criterion for selection of the best candidates.

About the programme:
In 2020 Huawei provides students the opportunity to gain online experience of latest trends in technology, to discover the technology ecosystem in China, to learn from top experts in the industry and to gain insight in the Chinese culture.
Huawei provides a 5-day online programme with approximately 14 hours in duration, mandatory technology lessons (300 minutes) + Huawei tours (100 minutes) + 6 mandatory live sessions (375 minutes) + 1 hour elective course (60 minutes) + free access to all other elective courses and selected resources on Chinese culture.
The programme is designed to be flexible. Students may learn in accordance with their own schedule. Key requirements include mandatory attendance in all live sessions anticipated in the standard agenda, completion of mandatory technology courses and the one-hour elective course prior to the closing ceremony organized at the end of the programme. All participants may attend multiple courses available in the catalogue of courses, based on their interests.
