STATE SECRETARY [1]
Dr. Elvin Hasan assumes the position of State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Society and Administration on 21st January2022.
Mr. Hasan was born on 10th April 1985 in Stip. He has been actively involved in the social trends and political developments in the country through the non-governmental sector with active involvement and contribution in the political sphere in the Republic of North Macedonia from his young age.
He has completed his primary and secondary education in Radovish, after which he has graduated from the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University "Goce Delchev" in Stip.
He earned his master’s degree and a doctorate from the Institute of Pedagogy at UKIM, majoring in education management.
He completed his postdoctoral studies at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of Ankara University, Republic of Turkey in 2016, majoring education management and public policy.
With view to his work experience, Mr. Hasan has worked in a number of areas.
Namely, as a civil activist, in the period from 2011 to 2013, he was vice-president of the non-governmental organization "UFUK", where he was a secretary in the period 2013 to 2016, and from 2016 to 2018 he was appointed president.
As part of his work and engagement in UFUK, he has worked on various projects with a focus on establishing links with institutions, NGOs and chambers of commerce from the Republic of Turkey, the Balkans and the countries of the Turkish Diaspora.
From 2012 to 2014, he was the editor-in-chief of the Macedonian-language magazine "Ufuk".
From 2014 to 2015 he was the editor-in-chief of the Turkish-language magazine “Ufuk Dergisi”, which is of international character.
Since 2016, he has been editor-in-chief of the portal and e-magazine "Haber Macedonia".
His work in the field of education began as a class teacher in Turkish language.
Furthermore, Mr. Hasan was an assistant at the Department of Turkish language and literature at the Faculty of Philology at the University "Goce Delchev" in Stip, and was also engaged at the Faculty of Pedagogy "Kliment Ohridski" in Skopje, as well as at the International "Vision" University in Gostivar.
In the period 2016 - 2018, he was the Deputy Director of the State Examination Center.
In the period 2018 - 2020, Mr. Elvin Hassan was appointed Minister for Foreign Investments in the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Over the years, Dr. Elvin Hassan has published several scientific papers. He is fluent in Turkish, Macedonian and English.
