REACTION
We, as the Ministry of Information Society and Administration, in charge of the laws related to the media, strongly react with regards to yesterday's attack on the journalist Zoran Bozhinovski.
As a country that stands for European values and entry into the European Union, we must create an appropriate climate for journalists to perform their duties and functions without obstacles. Such attacks on media workers do not contribute to the development of democracy and tolerance.
We urgently ask the law enforcement authorities and investigators to investigate and shed light on the case to the end. The culprits should get the deserved punishment and such cases should never happen again.
