Call for stakeholders to participate in a working group for harmonization of the Law on Public Sector Data Use with the EU Directive on Open Data and Re-use of Public Sector Information (2019/

Skopje, July 23rd 2021

In the coming period, the Ministry of Information Society and Administration (MISA) in cooperation with the Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society, and within the frames of the USAID Citizen Participation Project, will carry out activities for harmonization of the Law on Public Sector Data Use with the EU Directive on Open Data and Re-use of Public Sector Information (2019/1024).

In order to ensure a timely, smooth, inclusive and transparent process, MISA is hereby announcing a call to all stakeholders for nomination of members in the working group for harmonization of the Law on Public Sector Data Use with the EU Directive (2019/1024).

To participate in the working group, stakeholders need to have experience in the field. Nominated participants will be able to contribute to the preparation of the ex-post evaluation of the current Law, regulatory impact assessment and the preparation of the new draft Law. Workshops will be organized and interviews and meetings with individuals and interest groups will be held during the implementation of the activities.  The activities will be implemented in the period August-December 2021.
