The Minister of Information Society and Administration Jeton Shaqiri was part of the event "Citizens come: Presentation and Discussion of the Second National Report on the Monitoring of Public Administration Reform (PAR) 2019/2020", organized by the Institute for European Policy (EPI).
The Director of OECD / SIGMA Gregor Virant and the Director of the Institute for European Policy (EPI) in Skopje Simonida Kacarska were among the speakers in this discussion.
As Minister Shaqiri pointed out, we are facing challenges ahead of us, not only in the direction of the expected start of EU accession talks, but also to continuously work on the provision of efficient and modern public administration based on digitalization that provides quality and fast services for citizens and businesses.
"MISA has a dual role in the process, on one hand it is a competent institution responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the PAR process, and on the other hand it is a leading institution for implementing measures and activities in the Action Plan," said Minister Shaqiri.
For his part, OECD / SIGMA Director Gregor Virant honorably mentioned the work of the Ministry of Information Society and Administration, expressing satisfaction with the process done in terms of public administration reform.
